Our People

George Egan, President: George has been heavily involved in the horticulture and construction business from a young age. As a teenager, he worked for a local garden center and nursery right up through college where he attended school for Architecture, Landscape Design, and Computer Aided Drafting (with an emphasis on landscape architecture and construction management). George started landscaping immediately out of college, while also working for a large Civil Construction Company in Boston. In 2001, he started Egan's Country Gardens and Egan Landscape Group. He is well versed and experienced in the following fields: Construction Management, Contract Management, Graphic Design, Landscape Construction, and Horticulture. George also holds many licenses, certifications, and belongs to many professional organizations in the landscape and construction field.

Dave Manning, General Manager: With 40 years of landscaping experience, Dave has demonstrated a history of working closely with residential customers and has been experienced in the commercial and residential planned community industry for many years. Some of his duties include: budgeting, job costing, and the organization and scheduling of crews. He helps current and future customers to better understand the full potential of our products and services for their landscaping needs. Dave is a strong operations professional with a high focus in customer service.

Mike Johnson, Commercial Accounts Manager: As the Commercial Accounts Manager for Egan Landscape Group, Mike is responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial landscape maintenance accounts. He encourages business development by obtaining new commercial maintenance contracts from associations, industrial clients, commercial clients, and property management companies. Mike will meet with the potential client on site and produce proposals for these commercial properties. Thus, ensuring that clients are completely satisfied through effective communication, relationship building, and regular site visits.

Kayla Walkling, Office Manager:Kayla was first hired as an administrative assistant and quickly advanced to become the Office Manager. In addition to being the initial point of contact for customers inquiring about services via phone and e-mail; Kayla is also responsible for facilitating communication between account managers and their customers, accounts payable and receivable, and Human Resources and payroll for our employees. With over ten years of experience in customer service and five years employed as a social work professional, she is able to listen effectively to others and understand their needs.

Chris Kaczmarek, Account Manager: Chris has over 20 years of industry experience. He has broad knowledge of the design, installation, and ongoing maintenance of landscaping, irrigation, and lighting systems. Additionally, he is a Licensed Massachusetts Applicator for pesticide treatments. Chris is responsible for meeting with customers on their properties to discuss their initial ideas and see them through to project completion, ensuring they are satisfied with the end result. He is detail-oriented, organized, and thorough in his proposals. His communication, problem solving, and leadership skills help him be an effective project manager.

Deborah Egan, Office Manager (Honorary): Deborah was the Office Manager for Egan Landscape Group for many years - responsible for daily operations, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and other administrative duties. She maintained friendly and helpful communication with our customers and establish our reputation in the community.
